Fuse for battery charger

Bit of help ! We are in France on a site with 6amp electric. Sargent unit is showing fuse 1 (25amp battery charger) fuse blown - led next to fuse lit. Fuse looks fine, no break in it at all, so does the inline 20amp fuse from battery. I’m not 100% sure if battery is charging or not as I don’t have multimeter with me (to add to the van when we get home!). Over door display is showing. 13+ Volts on battery so I think it’s getting charge from somewhere - we have solar so assumed it to be charging from that. Could the low amps be what’s causing the ghost blown fuse led or is it something else?? Anyone suggest anything else to look at??
 
When you get home (or before) Screwfix item 95426 is what you need. A 13A plug to show if your mains is working and correctly wired; a small but effective digital voltmeter (DVM); and a non-contact mains indicator - the latter I would <never> be without!
 
I presume the way the Sargent blown fuse indicator works, is that when the fuse is good it shorts out the led circuit. Even though the fuse looks good I’d change it, you have nothing to loose And it will take seconds!
You will probably pick up a cheap test meter in one of the larger French supermarket, if not try and find a Brico Depot, they are a diy chain all over France, owned by the same firm that own B&Q and Screwfix, and stock many of the same products.
 
Replaced the fuse today and still same issue. LED on battery charger is green which apparently means trickle charge - will leave until we are back in the uk now.
