Hi all.

Thinking of getting a Ford Galaxy 1.9 TD 115bhp to pull our 2003 Swift Charisma 560. Does anyone tow with one of these, if so, what are they like for towing.

For the combination of load carrying space, economy and stability you are unlikely to get a better towcar! (but don't touch the auto)It's sister, the Sharan tdi 130 4motion (4wheel drive) must come close to being the ultimate towcar if it used the 2.5 engine.

Thanks for that Gary. Got the Galaxy but it's the 130 not the 115. Pick it up in a fortnight.

I have had three Galaxy's a 110 BHP, 115 BHP and the latest I run is a 130 BHP. All have been very goog tugs. There is obviously more power with the 130 but the 110 pulled our old Avondale Dart 665-6 without any issues.
