Gas bottle lock replacement

Morning
I am looking at changing the locks on my gas bottle door
So they have handles
I have attached my door type with the ones I want Wil these for if I buy them

I think the simple answer might be no - the current lock is recessed where the illustrations would sit flush. Then there are the two holes that would need to be drilled for each through the lid to allow for the backing plate lugs and to partially meet the bodywork. Then as the long bar at the rear simply locates behind the caravan bodywork when closed the replacements look to be far too short.
What is it about the current set-up that you dislike- except always needing the key - but that does at least mean that your front locker is always secure when shut!
If it made life easier you could buy a spare key that could be used solely for the front locker - although I have one such on my car keys so I don’t carry the full set of caravan keys about. The code is stamped on the body of the key.

Mine are not locking properly and thought it might be easier with this type
Of lock
I see what you mean by two holes would need drilling
At the moment they are difficult to lock with the key so I thought purchasing these would be easier but if it's not a good idea I'll leave them

I think the locks would be fairly easy to remove clean, and then lubricate with some graphite dry lubricant, or replacement lock barrels or whole units seem to be available relatively cheaply.
