GAS RING ON COOKER - IGNITING BUT NOT STAYING ON

Can anyone advise me why one of the three gas rings I have on my caravan cooker won't stay on when I ignite them.

Two of them stay on once ignited but the other one keeps going off.

Any advice please?

I expect that the thermocouple has failed on that burner.

Get a qualified LPG engineer to sort it out.

Damian's advice is sound.

One thing worth checking though, if you haven't done so already, is to make sure that the troublesome burner is put together correctly. If the top section does lift off, compare it to the ones that are working OK. But don't start dismantling anything that just doesn't pull apart. Leave that to the experts.

When it is working, is there an even flame pattern, especially where the flame plays on the thermocouple sensor?

Check to make sure that none of the holes in the burner have got clogged with spills etc.

one common fault in the manufacturing of leisure ovens is that the fascia panel where the control knobs are restrict the operation of the solenoid in the back of the valve. a quick check to see if it this, is to remove the control knob, pack out the hole in the control knob with a piece of paper making the hole shallower and then replace the knob. this allows for the knob to depress the valve properly. just give it a try before you go looking at the thermocouple. at least 85% of the time it works and this includes the control knobs on dometic/electrolux fridges

I had this problem over the Easter weekend....one out the three burners was lighting but not staying alight. I unscrewed the burner itself and gave it a good clean....worked like a treat afterwards.
