First time trip to France this summer. We used Calor propane (red bottles) which are unavailable in France I believe. Caravan dealership where I purchased my caravan suggested I use this site for information and advice.

Also have a portable BBQ for which we can use gas point on c'van or Calor butane (blue)a separate source.

No Calor butane or propane can be exchanged in France. If you have your Grandchildren with you for a month in France you will need Camping Gaz Bottle I guess that can be exchanged over there.

Check through the threads here for other advice on French travel, such as the must have polarity tester for when you hook up to Electric.
