For those that may be interested ,on Wednesday evening 22/sept at 10pm on channel E4 thats freeview 14 or sky 138 , there is a time team special called drowned Britain , this is about when the ice was a mile thick across northern Europe and the north sea and the English channel were dry land and the river Thames was a tributary of the river Rhine ,then about 10000 years ago the ice began to melt and turned us into an Island
