Stopped off at the northbound Gloucester services on the M5 on our way back from Highbridge this morning ( dropped our Bailey caravan off at MJ Lovells for some work), and was impressed - plenty of dedicated parking for caravans and the services are very good.
On our way down to Highbridge, we stopped at Michaels Wood services, but it's a bit tight there when parking up with the caravan. Also, whilst there sadly I witnessed a parked Ducati Multistrada get slammed very hard ( car hit the top box and forced the bike forward so hard it mounted the kerb before toppling over)..... the car driver went to find the bike owner and I helped to pick it up.

Gloucester Services is part of Westmorland Group, others are Tebay & J8 Truckstop on the M6 and Cairn Lodge on the M74 - the group always come highest in customer satisfaction surveys and gives 3 hours free parking, not just the minimum 2.

The Gloucester services are excellent and attract locals and some coach trips too. A fully fledged butchery is amazing. The services are owned by the Tebay ones on M6 in Cumbria, or Westmoreland as some prefer.
