Good tow car

We currently have a bailey pegasus gt65 6 berth single axel 2015.we drive a skoda scout 2 litre 4x4 2012. We have had issues of snaking. One website says its a good match one says not a match. Does anyone recommend a car for this caravan.

The scout can tow up to the same as the Yeti 2000kg so at under 1500kg the Bailey is well below its maximum.

Several things spring to mind
1: tyre pressures, are the car tyre pressures set for maximum load? ditto for the caravan.
2: is the caravan overloaded or loaded with too much weight behind the rear axle ?
3: is the nose weight correct?
4: are the stabiliser pads in good condition and set correctly?

When do you get the "snaking" or is it just swaying, I find if I tow on motorways or well used dual carriageways, where HGV's have created ruts in the road, this will cause swaying,
All the items Gumpy have mentioned need to be checked.

Just to add I tow a 1500kg Elddis Affinity 554 with my Yeti but I'm now very conscious of things mentioned above as when I first got it I found it unstable as it was 70kg overweight and tail heavy. We now carry virtually nothing in the van it all has to travel in the car.
