Green flag for me.

Only needed Green flag once, luckely. On a sunday afternoon I put the wrong fuel in our car. It was a diesel and I filled it with petrol, Only got about half a mile and it stopped. We rang Green flag. They sent two recovery trucks one for car one for caravan. They took us a few miles to a repair garage, the tank was drained refilled and started up. We were back on the road with in two hours of the phone call. On a sunday afternoon We think that will take some beating, a first class sevice I would say.( At the time I was a motor mechanic! can you imagine the stick I got from my work mates. bless em.)

Word of advice if I may, If you do put the wrong fuel in your car and it is under warranty, DO NOT call your dealer, I used to be a recovery driver, I got called out to a 1 series BMW diesel which the owner put petrol in,we picked it up on behalf of the dealer and the customer was quoted

I have just taken out green flag cover, after 8 years with the AA.

More cover for less money. However it was pointed out that a charge would be made if the car was incorrectly fueled
