Hello to all fellow caravanners around the world from South Africa.
We live approximately 20 miles (30 Km) to the west of Johannesburg, South Africa. Our outfit is a 1983 Gypsey 4 caravan 17-footer excluding A-frame, towed by a 2001 Mitsubushi L200 double-cab pickup 2.8 turbo diesel. Out here it is called a Colt - in UK I think it is called a Warrior.
We will be re-locating to the UK within the next 18 - 24 months, and look forward to continuing this wonderful leisure lifestyle over there. We will not be bringing our outfit with us, as it will be too expensive to ship across, but we will be looking for a similar rig on arrival.
We have already joined the Caravan Club and hope to meet a few of you folk sometime! In the meantime, we would welcome any information or advice that may be offered. All e-mails will be answered ASAP.
