Groundsheet

Hi.

We have just bought a new Isabella Capri Lux 1000, but can anyone tell me what size groundsheet would be required for it.

Also what type of groundsheet is best breathable or not, as you can tell this is all new to me so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi John,

Isabella list the Capri Lux at 2.5 metres deep - so there is your groundsheet width. The length of the groundsheet for a full sized awning is determined by your own van. You don't need to worry about the A frame distance - just measure the distance between the bottom ends of your awning channel and add on a couple of feet for the awning to be splayed slightly when it is pitched.

I have not used a ground sheet for about 15 years and the only time I have had a problem was when inconsiderate caravaners use a ground sheet and ruin the pitch. Ground sheets of all types should be banned.
