Halogen to LED?

Thanks to the help on this great forum, I have discovered that I need to change my existing Halogen G4 10 Watt tower bulbs and MR11+C 10Watt spotlight bulbs to equivalent LED units. Has anybody any idea what the direct replacement are please? Have had a look at e.bay and am now more confused. com! Thx. Simon.

You already have the most important information . the G4 and MR11 define the base connections, so you simply need to find LED bulbs with the same base designation - However some LED bulbs are slightly bigger than the bulbs you maybe trying to replace and they might be slightly two big for your luminars, so it will be best to talk to your caravan dealer who should be ale to offer direct replacements of the right size.

There may be others on the forum who can give the name of other suppliers from experience.
 
Many thanks. Anybody know of a good / reliable uk retailer of 1w G4 and 1w MR11?
Do I need to fit an LED transformer or is it a straight swap?
 
Enter G4 Caravan LEDs and MR11 caravan LEDs into the E-bay search box, click for UK only and there will be various suppliers.
Take a halogen G4 out to see the size and connector to compare with the E-bay picture.
The 12v bulbs will be a straight swap.
 
I've changed all the bulbs in our 'van to LED and used Aten Lighting to supply ..... reasonable price and good service.

They have useful pictures on the website to compare bulbs! :cheer:
