Just come back from 2 weeks on this site and it goes to prove you get what you pay for, very unlooked after site every one crammed in with no privacy from your neighbour, grass on site not cut the whole time i was there and majority of caravans on site are season pitchers in hobby and roma vans with tyres flat and really dirty (like a gypsy site). The swimming pool was excellent though my son learned to swim there, entertainment was performed by 2 people and children who learned the dances were the "gang" on stage. evening entertainment not great and venue not big enough for everyone on site so if you`re new you will not get a seat unless you go out at 6pm, location hard to get to but once there lovely veiws, won`t go again but for £300 for 2 weeks what did i expect!!!!!!!!!!
 
Chris, if its purely surfing you want and not bothered by anything else then i would say go for it surfing in harlyn bay is fab but the sites not for me not for me and my kids
 
We had a week there mid July and thought it was fine.

Yes its commercial with a fish & chip shop, large playground, nightly caberet& kids club but thats why we booked it.

Like you said, what did you expect????
 
Dan i read your review on your return in july and was looking forward to going, the commercial side of the site is what we wanted the entertainment was of a very poor standard with some nights only a clown on offer for adults and children,the site was very very dated and if you walked around the pitches on evening strolls it was very scruffy with rubbish thrown around the statics and sited tourers and empty gas bottles etc,etc,not what i expected after travelling 6 hrs from wales,the park was not good as some of the apparatus was cordoned off with hazard tape as unsafe for use and older kids of between 10 and 16 in the park up till late at night not good for 4 year olds, the coastal walks away from the site were excellent as one day we walked over to padstow lifeboat station and went throgh Mother ivy`s site next door which was much cleaner and well kept, Dan i did expect slightly more than i got but the weather did`nt help as you had great weather i believe.Not a site for me sorry but obviously its a matter of opinion.
