Have just booked 2 weeks in August at Haveringland Hall, anyone been???

Anyone got any tips on places to visit, things to do around Norwich as not been to that area before?

Also, does anyone know of any dog friendly beaches near cromer or Great Yarmouth where we can give the dogs a good run and a swim in the sea????

Thanks

hello there jimp, loads to do in the area, depends what you want.there's the castle museum, cathederal, two shopping malls etc in Norwich , also plenty of car boot sales if you are into them. the broads, usual seaside stuff at Gt. Yarmouth, Most beaches don't allow dogs on them during the summer with the exception of Holkham beach,This is a huge flat beach, but the tide go'es out a very long way, near Holkham Hall this is near Wells next the Sea. Haveringland is not far from the market town of Aylsham, there are also several fishing lakes in the area. could visit the Fox public house which is also nearby( I stay on thier CL site a lot)and will probably be there when you visit the area, On the main road from Norwich to Cromer Hevingham. You should find plenty to keep you occupied.....Mark
