Heki 2 Rooflight Gas Struts

We have a Swift Charisma 220 (2001) and the gas struts on the Heki rooflight no longer work. I see you can buy replacements but don't know about changing them myself. Is it an easy job, should I try or should I get a caravan service centre to do it?

I would welcome your views.
 
I'm sure you'll manage the job ,but if things start going a bit wrong, then is the time to remember my signature------ if it isn't broke mend it until it is ! Good luck
