Hello novice caravanner here :)

hello everyone I`m Stevie and I`m from Aberdeen. I have just purchased our very first Caravan and am expecting to take delivery of it next week. after looking around out local dealers we decided to go for a Bailey Senator Arizona 2006 model. This is our very first van any hints and tips will be gratefully received.

would also like to hear your reviews on this van.

thanks

2006 and 2007 models had problems with splitting front and rear panels.
Ask the person you are buying from if the van you want has had problems and / or have they been fixed correctly, ie new panels.

Another area of concern on Bailey vans are the front and rear roof straps which have been the point of water ingress.
Get a written confirmation that your van has NO DAMP, now or in the past.

If you are not happy with the response, get an independent engineer to look at the van and DO NOT PART with any money until YOU are satisfied.

Hi. Welcome to the forum. Don't panic about Damian's warning, but do ask specific questions about the points he raises. When the dealer does the handover, don't let them rush it, take a notebook because you won't remember it all and ask lots of questions. Then relax and enjoy
