Hello

Hi all,
I'm new here my name is marvin but im nicknamed moo, I've got a swift sundance 500 lifestyle. Me and the missus and my daghter are avid campers...and our hound!

We like the South West mainly...Cornwall Devon and somerset.
We also like the Lakes and Yorkshire and Derbyshire Dales.

No I haven't even done one mile in the van...except to the MOT centre.
I'm diabetic and the covid has frightened me a bit to be honest.
Thank goodness that vaccines are now becoming available.
My other half and I have some health issues that mean that we're vulnerable and shielding but we still managed trips to Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset when travel restrictions were lifted.
The sites that we stayed on all kept strictly to the government guidelines for social distancing and cleanliness and we didn't use the site showers or toilets because we have good onboard facilities on our caravan.
We didn't mix or mingle with fellow campers in shops, bars or restaurants and we're glad to have been able to get away.
It broke the monotony of lockdown at home for both of us.

Welcome to the forum. My wife is also diabetic and she has been too concerned about covid to use the caravan this year so I understand your position.
