Hello everyone, we are Pete and Jinny and we have recently purchased a 2011 Lunar Ultima 546, which we are going through to ensure all is in working order, prior to our first trip.
We currently do not have a vehicle to tow the 'van with, but the next company vehicle will have a towbar fitted, we should get that in a couple of weeks.
We have encounterd some water damage that was not immediatly apparent prior to purchase in the rear right hand corner of the floor and the surround for the toilet cassest cabinet. The floor damage was found to be caused from water ingress through the securing locuts for the tail lights, a design fault that must have always been there. This was resolved by filling all of the locuts with silicon sealer and creating a silicoon gasket around the mounting faces of the light unit, these when dried and re-assembled cured the problem. Good old Leaky Lunars!!!
Looking forward to taking the caravan out for some adveentures in the near future.
