I am very new to caravans, I have a new Bailey Indiana due in about 2 months and need help with the following

I want to be able to get good television reception in 95% of the uk, my caravan comes with a tv, but I expect it will have a very basic aerial. What aerial/sat would you recommend, ideally I would prefer something that will stay on the caravan all the time.

also I would like to consider a decent size sollar panel on the roof to keep the leisure batteries topped up, ie more than a trickle as I intend using caravan club sites, but the more remote ones with no hooks ups, what is the best way to do this, ideally again I would want it permanently fixed so it keeps the battery topped up, is this something the dealer would fit, or are there companies in the south west that would do this, I am based near Plymouth, Devon

also I would like to get a cover for the van whilst in storage outside, the fitted ones are fairly expensive, I know I need a breathable one, any suggestions on an alternative off the shelf that will fit an indiana

The aerial on the Indiana is superb and much better than the mushroom type

The only way that you will get the TV reception you require over so large an area is with a Sky dish and digi box

I have the Maxview semitronic on the van roof and it is always on the van roof etc

I have no experience of solar panels but someone will be along who has

I have also never used a cover and I met someone with an Indiana who had paint damage through the use of one

I prefer Fenwicks Overwintering
