Hello - help please!

First timing down to south of France and have booked all sites apart from stop off on first night. 3 year old son has "played" with my caravan club europe sites book and so is almost certainly in a bin somewhere! Am heading down via beaujolais on the way down, and so expect to make it just past Troyes before stopping off. Has anyone had experience of any sites round this region as I am struggling to find many on the net

Thanks

If you can manage it a bit further south there is a good municipal site in Beaune, if you come into Beaune on the Route National from Nuits St George you will see it signposted on the right just before the town centre.

If you are there before 4.00ish you will not have a problem but after this it can be a bit hit and miss

What time are you setting off and when are you landing in France?

It depends on your distances and times really I would think.

The Camping Municipal at Chalons en Champagne - if you get that far - is handy for an overnighter.

Thanks - Beaune now on my list for next year. This year staying at Fleurie for a few nights, but with 2 kids and a 3hr drive to the tunnel, I am doubtful of making it that far!

Thanks - hoping to get further, and staying in champagne on way back for a few nights, but will add to future list

Hi

landing in france at 9.30, but have 200 mile drive to tunnel. Am estimating that a comfortable distance in france with a few stops would be about 300 miles. This takes us just past Troyes.

thanks
