Help locationg spare parts pls?

Hi,

I want to replace part of the rubber strips/beading that cover the screws that hold the edging in place (what's it called). I took the rear light cluster off and the metal gromet that is fitted in the shell that holds the screw, has rusted away, again what is it's name and where can I source replacement parts please?

Try the Caravan Surplus Store at English Street in Hull - unless you can get a spare from the manufacturer parts dept.

Thanks for that. What do I actually ask. I believe Avondale are no longer manufactured.

It is not really clear what parts you are after.
Re the cover strip, do you mean the strip which sits in the awning rail? If so, that is a Herzim Strip and comes in different sizes, and colours.
The light, what bit are you talking about, the actual lens cover or the rubber grommets in the caravan body that the screw goes into?

Thanks. That'sthe 1st question answered. It's the Herzim Strip. Your asumotion is correct. I think mine are metal, but it's the grommets in the body I require. Are they simply called grommets?
