Help Needed For Breakers

Hi any of you good people no of any caravan breakers in the North East which may be able to help us.My friend is looking to replace the work surface around hob and sink in his elddis cyclone,plus maybe also fit a oven to the same...regards Gary

Hi Gary, York? if your closer to here then there are two good lads on ebay, GW Caravans and Caravan-Solutions, sorry know of no one in the NE proper.

A tip for recovering worktops is to find a local laminates fabricator who make bespoke worktops, their small off-cuts rack is an Aladdin's cave for caravanners needs.

The modern laminate is only 0.8mm thick at most and when glued down on top of the old makes an acceptable job

If you want really good stuff, there are two places in Hull and Beverley that sell new stuff which has been acquired at bankrupt sales/closing down sales etc. Neither of them break caravans. They are:

Caravan Supplies, English Street, Hull (01482 323678) and

O'Leary Motor Homes, Plaxton Bridge Road, Woodmansey (01482 880044)

Prices are usually about half the new price, sometimes dramatically less.
