We have recently bought an Avondale Corfu - 1993 - despoite not knowing anything about caravans, it's the first one we've have owned. we didn't pay a grat deal and it is in good condition. However we need HELP!!!!!! We have not ben able to source any spares or a manual and we beleive that Carver, who made the Cascade MkII water heater no longer make them for caravans. We know Avondale are now out of business.
Is there a different model of wter heater we coul d put in?
Where could we get accessories, such as the water pump. Are there any universal ones?
Do I need to change the whole water system?
I'm not even 100% sure it doesn't work!
What I really Really REALLY need is a manual to point me in the right direction.
All help gratefully received.

What you REALLY need is a mobile caravan engineer to give the van a full service and show you how things work, and advise on where to get bits and pieces.
Getting a full service will ensure that the van is at least safe for you to use, or will show up any dangerous problems.

Thank you all for all your help. We will take all these suggestions on board. Does anyone have a URL for the Avondale Owners Club? Or a 'phone number for a mobile service engineer in our area (North West Wiltshire)?
Many Thanks again
