You'll have to forgive me. I'm brand new to caravaning but feel I have researched the subject thoroughly and found something that startled me somewhat. I've managed to find the link again and attached it to this post.

Why would you not insure something that is costly and (based on my experience of 2 months) something that is a great passion?

In that situation it is understandable then but I couldn't find a caravan (one that was in good condition and new enough not to have to worry about it falling apart) for under

Dont forget insurance also gives 3rd party cover, so whilst it is unlikely ,should your van catches fire and the fire spreads to a nother van or vehicle and you are not insured you could face a very steep bill. For me I would never consider not insuring a caravan. Even our 1st old leaky sprite cost

For peace of mind definately insure your van.I wouldn't be without it.
