Rookie question. Can you use the trauma heater only without filling with water from hog tank electric hook up or do need to fill boiler ?

Hi. Some more details would help us to help you. For example what outfit do you have? What year? Model number/name of the heater? Is it just electric you are having problems with? Have you tried gas?

Do you not have a handbook for the caravan.? Caravans I have had with Truma blown air systems had no water system. What type of system do you have?

I'm guessing that you have a Truma Combi installed? I had the same question and couldn't find anything in my manual to say one way or the other. Found this on the Web that answers your question (if you have a Truma Combi)

No, if it is the Truma Combi, you can use just the heating. It states that in the Guide to Truma combi. that Beardy supplied.
