Hi to everybody

I and wife Helen have reached our fifties and are only just starting caravanning -actually haven't bought the van yet- hope to soon - so its been great reading everyones tips and comments on various things. Have lots of questions and will post on the other threads soon!

Anthony and Helen, welcome to forum. I am sure, when you finally get your van, you will thoroughly enjoy holiday in it. As you can see (from former threads), we are not always a sober bunch, but everyone is friendly and willing to offer any advice they can to help you and other newcomers.

Even the most experienced caravanners, however, are still learning!!!

HI Helen and Anthony.

I'm sure you'll enjoy caravanning, we're all a friendly lot and will often lend a hand to anyone in a spot of bother.

Been caravanning for 25 years now and still I learn new tricks.

I must say for me It's the oasis from today's rat race, and I often have a great smile when the mobile has no signal.

Feel free to ask any questions about the hobby, all will be answered.

Have fun.

Steve.

Thanks for the welcome!

This website is positively addictive!

We ordered an Adria Adiva 532UP at the weekend - delivery Mayish - so the next job is tidying up the drive way which is an uphill about 1 in 6. We hope to be able to keep it here most of the time.

HI Anthony, and welcome to the wounderful world of touring.

i hope you enjoy the new van, however all i would say is that rather than keeping it on the drive at home have a look around for a good secure compound. Not only dose it keep your van safe it should also help to lower your insurance premiums. Do make sure though that any site you look at is registerd. All the best and happy vanning
