Hi

Hi my name is Andrew I live in Holyhead, Anglesey, I own a 1996 Sterling Voyager and pull with a 95 Discovery or 1980 Range Rover. I don't get out much due to increasing fuel costs and site charges.

Hi Andrew, welcome to the Forum.

One way to keep your site costs down is to join the Caravan Club/Camping & Caravanning Club and use the hundreds of CL's or CS's that are available to members. You only have to use them a few times and you've recouped your membership fee. They cost a fraction of the cost of big sites, are limited to a maximum of 5 vans and many are in idyllic locations. Some have facilities and electric hook-ups, some are basic with only a water tap and chemical toilet disposal point. They are all listed in the book you get when you join.

Welcome to the forum Andrew.

We're going to the Penrhyn Bay site near to your home at Spring Bank. Do you know it? Can you recommend a nice pub nearby for food that allows kids please?

Cheers

Crikey, Alnwick, Filey Brigg and now Wales. You may be new but you're making up for lost time!

Where do you live?

I'll be sure to check you two when we decide on where to go....I'm sure you will have done that site by then!
