Not sure if this is posted in the right place . . .

Wondering what hobbies folks manage to do when they are away in their vans. Thinking of indoor stuff really, hoping to be inspired :)

FWIW Watercolours and Astronomy are the two things I aim to do more of. My wife plans to read more books (if that is possible) and family tree (wifi depending)

We once went to the Vandee, we had a large shared pitch and our next door neighbour had just purchased a computerised drive for his clearly expensive telescope. We spent a pleasant warm evening tracking stars and planets on his iPad. And drinking alcohol.

Wine tasting😱 Generally though we were outdoors walking with our dogs, sometimes with grandchildren too. Evenings were spent around the caravan. Sometimes board games, reading and tv.

Socialising with friends old and "brand new", but that's the very essence of the "social camping" we do, attending rallies and temporary holiday sites.

When we had our health to do so, it was cycling, rambling, sight seeing and outdoor cooking and eating.
Basically, living much as at home but living life somewhere different with a bias to spending as much time outdoors as we could.

At home Mrs H and myself have wet day interests.
Jigsaw puzzles, model aircraft, balsa etc.
Woodentop , mentions amateur radio, a friend of mine does this from his caravan, drives his wife mad.

One of my hobbies is Archery but I'm not sure the bodywork of most caravans would deflect an arrow when I miss the target.
