Hoburne Bashley & Shorefield touring parks (new Forest ones)

Hi,

have finally narrowed our holiday destination to one of the above parks. would really appreecate comments if anyone has stayed on either of them.

Hi Andrea,

These are two very good parks can reccomend both ,but I am slightly in favour of the Shorefield site especially Lytton Lawn site been going here for years,very clean well laid out and you can use the main site for entertainment plus swimming and all the rest of the facilities there. Can thoroughly recommend and knowthat you won't be let down.Enjoy.Jimbob

hi at bashley you are on site no driving after watching the entertainment so you can have a drink if you want ,can get crowded in the main room but so does oakdean(shorefield) bashley also has a nine hole golf course and snooker,table tennis ,darts ,hope this helps

We went to Hoburn Bashley last summer on the advice of a fellow caravanner on this forum and we had a great holiday. The site was lovely with loads to do for the kids (teenagers), entertainment was good and the site is very well kept. The pitches are a good size, some with hedges for wee bit extra privacy. Toilets immaculate. Restaurant, family lounge and adults only bar - caters for everyone. You can walk into New Milton which is a lovely town and take the train fron New Milton to Bournemount or Poole. We are considering going back this year, not many sites tick all the boxes for all the family but this is one of the best we've come across in the UK. Dont know anything about the other site, sorry.
