hi im thinking of going to france for august hols and was hoping for some recomendations we have 2 boys aged 15 and 13 so a pool would be good close to entertainment and no more than 300 miles from calais thanks

Try Eurocamp Independent, we have used them for teh last 15 years with children ranging from 1yr to 17. They offer a full package and the description of the site is usually very accurate. www.eurocampindependent.co.uk

I'd agree with Swansea Jack - great site - lovely facilities, and plenty of other Brits on site. Restaurant staff speak good English (as do other staff on reception, bar, etc) - so ideal for a first trip to France.
