Hook up problem with new rig....

Just thought i'd share this incase anyone else is stumped for the 15 minutes that i was.

Bought a new Charisma 555, the dealer threw in the 13 pin adapter which was great, so when i got the van home and plugged it into the garage to check everything over and familiarise myself with the electrics....NOTHING!

No power on the control panel, nothing at all worked. I tried the breaker, tried turning the mains power on and off, checked the fuse in the plug hadn't blown......the list of fault finding went on.

It turns out after much head scratching that the cure was to remove the 13 pin adaptor from the end of the caravans electrics.

Turns out it obviously confuses the caravan as it still thinks it's attached to the car.

Hope this helps someone.
