How good is the Diesel Honda CRV as a Tow Car?

We keep our van, a Bailey Senator Oklahoma in France and do not tow in England. At present i tow with a Kia Sorento and I am thinking of changing it. With the Sorento we tow at 60 to 65 mph effortlessly and I wondered how the Honda would compare?

Hi Robin

We didn't collect our 2007 CRV2.2 diesel until we got back from the Pyranees so have had only three short trips in and around the UK Peak district towing our Senator Virginia a total of less than 300 miles. Nevertheless we have no hesitation in saying that you would have no problem cruising at 60/65 on French roads with your Oklahoma in tow. Its great up hills and round bend and a dream on the open road.

Thanks for your comments. I now have a problem with my left knee and will hae to have a knee replacement.

I might have to get an automatic tow car. The honda CRV Diesel only comes as manuel . Anyone have any recommendations
