How much space between vans on cassoa site

We currently store our caravan on a CASSOA site in Cheshire. The space between each 'van seems to be very small leaving barely enough space to open the door. My question is, 'is this normal or is it reasonable of me to expect 3 foot or so on each site? Don't CASSOA specify a clearance?

I have to turn sideways to get down the sides of mine, when the door is open there is a 6" gap to the next van.

I do not know if there are any 'rules' on this. My van is on a Cassoa site and each 'slot' is clearly marked with painted lines. The van fits into the slot with about 1 foot clear either side so this means about 2 feet between adjacent vans, so no problem opening the door.

I suspect it is down to individual site owners but I do notice that even on Club sites the storage area usually has the vans tight packed.
