For a number of years I have used a TireTek pressure gauge. I first bought it when I did some off roading and it was very useful as it had a bleed feature so the Pajeros tyre pressures could be dropped when required without having to stick your finger end in the tyre valve. Having no battery it could be relied upon at all times.
Anyway last week I noticed that it would not hold air pressure readings when removed from the valve. So looking on the TireTek website the support section has a video and what to do. You just dismantle the top end parts and blow through and a drop of light oil on the “ plunger” stem. Outcome? All working fine again. So no need to start looking for another gauge.
