Hi Dusty the hand controls I am taking day by day just wish I could have more lessons? the hoist was transferred to my new car but the mobility scooter I brought 11 months ago I found the batteries were to heavy so now traded in for a new 2025 Pride GoGo Endurance Li Lithium mobility scooter for one reason the batteries are lighter to lift,and this one takes two sizes in batteries and the airline will take it .

In the past I have tried scooters with lithium batteries, but found you could not leave them plugged in 24/7/365. Problem being is that you remember to unplug them once charged and then forget to plug it in again a day or two later. The other issue was if the batteries were not charged regularly, they went totally flay with no hope of recovery.

However this was several years ago ss hopefully the standard has improved as seriously considering a small fold up scooter. Are your batteries okay and can you leave them charging 24/7/365? Thanks.

BB I can officially say that when travelling from Ulverston today it took 8 hours due to endless traffic delays, even took the M6 toll to avoid a 35 minute southbound delay, and then hit numerous delays in the M42 south, some due to HS2 works. That cost me £10+

I have been travelling to Barrow more times than I care to remember and without doubt this was the worse journey ever. No RTA that I was aware of just congestion due to traffic and construction works. As I approached Bristol warnings came up over further delays so I took the A417 to Cirencester. Short delay at the Hot Air Balloon but really awe inspiring the scale of the works.

The M42 is particularly bad - they've been building a new junction for Birmingham Airport and HS2 seems to cross it several times, made worse because all the alternative roads along the line of the M42 also have HS2 roadworks - it'll take several more years to complete them!

The roads will then be waiting heaven knows how long for a train to appear. Double deckers would have been a better option and going to northern cities too. Our electric gantries on the Swindon to Bristol via Bath line are without cabling despite all of the heavy work having been completed. We don’t do very well on infrastructure projects wrt timely delivery within or near to budget.

I get hit with HS2 roadworks whichever direction I go - contrary to the media it doesn't end in Birmingham - it continues north to join the WCML between Lichfield and Rugeley, at Handsacre.

It would have been worse though if the Nottingham/Leeds leg had been built as that would have meant moving Jct 10 on the M42 and chaos locally.

Seeing this brand new scooter has faster charger times and latest battery charger and longer life and it comes with a two years limited warranty so far been very happy so far the reason I went for this the battery pack is lighter and that a big plus for me with my mobility issues .
