In the past I have tried scooters with lithium batteries, but found you could not leave them plugged in 24/7/365. Problem being is that you remember to unplug them once charged and then forget to plug it in again a day or two later. The other issue was if the batteries were not charged regularly, they went totally flay with no hope of recovery.Hi Dusty the hand controls I am taking day by day just wish I could have more lessons? the hoist was transferred to my new car but the mobility scooter I brought 11 months ago I found the batteries were to heavy so now traded in for a new 2025 Pride GoGo Endurance Li Lithium mobility scooter for one reason the batteries are lighter to lift, and this one takes two sizes in batteries and the airline will take it .
However this was several years ago ss hopefully the standard has improved as seriously considering a small fold up scooter. Are your batteries okay and can you leave them charging 24/7/365? Thanks.
