Hyundai Kia recall USA

Some 3.4m Hyundai and Kia cars are being recalled in the US. It affects 2010-19Santa Fe and Sportage models. The cause is leaking brake fluid on to a circuit board that can cause a fire.

Don’t know if UK models are affected but owners might want to check. We often lag the US.

US market Hyundais and Kias are built in the US, not Korea or Europe and often suffer with issues which just don't occur on their cars built for EU/UK

...the Sportage is a completely different body shell compared with the Euro model... So I would say unlikely
