Hyundai Tucson Diesel

Hi,

Has anyone towed with a Hyundai Tucson 2.0 diesel AUTOMATIC ??

If you have can you tell me what mpg you got as I am concerned that it will not be very good.

A friend has the manual and is in dispute with Hyundai because it gets nowhere near the stated mileage. In fact he only gets about the same as my Disco3 which weighs nearly 3 tons!

Autos are usually 2-3 mpg worse than the manual was my point.

Moderator can't you take this respondent off of the forum, he lowers the tone of any debate that is going. The subject of this thread is fuel consumption. As an aside does he not raed consumer surveys and US web site to realise that the world has changed and Korean cars regulary knock the Euro prestige brands down the list. Hydundai and Kia being a recent example.
