I had two Ford mondeo disels tdis and they were really good tow cars.I recently changed to a Sorento Titan. I did not believe I could improve on the Mondeo as a tug.However,I towed with the Sorento for the first time today and it was effortless it was only a short tow of 15 miles but I had to keep holding the car back as it constantly wanted to go faster. Im delighted so far so good.

Fantastic tow car!
I tow a Wyoming twin axle with my 57 plate XE Auto and it romps along and always feels in control.
For the money, I don't think there is anything to touch the Sorrie. I'd love a new Merc ML though.......but I have Kia money!

good choice.weve got an 05 xe manual.great towcar even though its a bit thirsty especially when towing.i can see why its won so many awards,happy towing.have i seen a photo of it on the sorento website?

We tow our Wyoming with a 2.5crdi Sorento. I've had her from new in 2005 and never looked back. The stability and performance ae brilliant. The long steep drag from Leek to Buxton was effortless.
Have a look at " uksorento.com". There are over 1700 Sorie owners who regularly contribute on all aspects. I did the rear mud. No more mud streaks up the front of the Wyoming now.
