I use the Cambridge services on the A14 on a regular basis and my usual moan is all the cars and vans parked in the caravan bays when there is space elsewhere.
Last monday I was pleased to find only two caravans in the caravan bays only to find that one of the outfits had parked length ways taking up 5 bays. I have seen some inconsiderate parking but nothing like this.
The outfit consisted of a Jeep and what looked like a new Buccaneer with no one in attendance and no security devices, as far as I could see. We were there over 30 minutes and the outfit was still unattended when we left. I wonder if they still had a caravan attached to the Jeep when they returned or had £20k of caravan been taken ?
Has anyone else seen parking like this ?
On the return journey normal service had returned with cars parked in the caravan bays even though there was plenty of room elsewhere.
