Thanks Clive, I'm quite partial to you too !!

And Daventura, if I AM Clive's type, then I am proud to be. He doesn't need to be abusive and ignorant to people to voice his opinion and is respectful of others as long as they are respectful to him. So am I. He, also like me, knows that in real life people are different, their wants and likes are different and he respects their choices and opinions, unlike other members of this forum who, I think, only come on here to abuse and deride others. Sad.

You can tell when people are losing an argument when they resort to profanity and childishness and although Clive may sometimes be provoked into a tit-for-tat scenario, and me too I'm afraid, who can blame him when his protagonists DEMAND that people abide by THEIR rules and absolutely refuse to accept that anyone else is entitled to the same.
Totally and absolutely BESOTTED now!!

Jane, sorry, after what youve said about him you must be talking about a different Clive than me. My apologies again.

Apology accepted Daventura ! although you and I both know that your apology was "tongue-in-cheek". However, I do see Clive in a different light to you because I don't try to antagonise him just for the fun of it and therefore have only had adult and respectful conversations with him.

And for those of you who might be wondering why Clive is seemingly telling Michael that he loves him !, the moderator has removed my post which was responding to comments made by Kanga and which was in between their posts :)

Found it!

The Warrior is made by Dodge in the US and is part of the Chrysler group. Not imported into the UK or Europe.

Therefore bit of an irrelevance really.

And on that lastpoint I will hand you back to the most irrelevent article on this Forum!!!

Lets have a big happy campers welcome FORRRR-----!!

kanga

Oh Kanga - you look a little deflated?

Never mind - that nice kind GaryM is going to look after you and make sure that you are ok. He drives a Freelander - sensible chap that he is. They score well on the Ncap tests.

They are also the most popular 4x4 in Europe!

We have one as well!

Lovely car!

You go and have a lay down now - its been a bad couple of days for you hasn't it.

There There there.

Ssssh!
I think the reference to Warrior means the Mitsubishi L200 "Warrior" limited edition, see also L200 "Animal" and L200 "4Life", all basically smartened up versions of the L200 double cab 4x4 pickup.

It would be nice to have some trees in the future to hug, but with the amount of pollution your gas guzzling 4x4 produces I don't think so. get a life, get a brain
at least with a discovery 3 on diesel you can cut a few emmisions, but i fear with my 45,000 miles per year i've more chance of Knocking down a tree than polluting it.

You can tax me as high as you wish, but you won't put me off using the best car in the 4 x 4 range from landrover.

who wants to hug a tree,it may be you who needs a brain

so as you say, get a life, and get a discovery 3 and enjoy the towing experience, i make lorries wobble as i pass them.

If anyone wants to hit 4x4 vehicles, then can I suggest that they try to validate the theory with.........

A Fiat Panda Sisley (4X4)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Surely, with the moniker 4X4 emblazoned onto the tailgate, this vehicle must fall into the category - heinous killer!!!!!!!

Yes - if the "Anti's" had their way this clever little car would be banned! - I drove one once - surprizingly capable.

But a whacking great Chrysler Voyager is OK!!!!!!

LOL !!!!

Sorry! - genuinely just having a laugh.

You have to admit a Fiat Panda 4x4 = Not OK

Voyager = OK - is a bit ludicrous - is it not?

These are your opinions. Simply drop the subject and we wont all get wound up again.

I have strong views on this, shall I also start "having a laugh"?
