If you think this website is lacking...

...then pay a visit to Autocar.co.uk, which would appear to be a sister site to this one.

They complained about the site and look what they've got now...!!

(Go to General - Come and join the all-new MyAutocar site..

Oh dear...

Now Mr Mod at Practical Caravan Forum, let me be the first to congratulate you on our wonderful site, perfect in every way, never needs upgrading, just keep up the fatastic work and never let it change...big round of applause for the PC Forum...!!

Hi Colinn. I see that you also forget to use a spell checker, ( missed the N out o fantastic) hence my request to be able to edit poorly composed or poorly spelt posts.

Before this goes any further, let us not go down the correcting everyones posting route. This is not a test in the English Language, nor is it the place to "correct " others mistypes.

"Afetr all, it dsoe not mkae mcuh diffrence wehre the atcual lettres are palced in a sentnece, the brian olny sees the wohle word and auto corrects for mislpaced lettres"

The above was taken from a cognitive study which I studied as part of a degree course.

I was only referring to my own poorly composed and mis-spelt postings and did not mean to criticise anyone else.

I just find it irritating not to be able to correct my own mistakes, others may not, thats their business. I was raised to believe that the use of sloppy language was a sign of a sloppy mind.

Tut! Tut! Steve, fancy missing the "o" out of "of". ;O)

Steve, I deliberately ignored your previous useless contribution - but now you're getting personal...I suggest your sloppy MIND should MIND its own business.

Please do not allow this to fall into personal attacks.
Dear mod 3

Blimey talk about walking on egg shells, I woudn't do your job for all the tea in China. Or am I just starting another row.

Did it?? The matter that actually prompted me to start this post seems to have been swamped by a silly argument over spelling and grammar! I thought it was interesting what had happened to the Autocar Forum which is a sister to this one. Obviously not!! Merry Chrissmas all. Sorry Steve, I'll retype that, Merry Christmas all, even to you Steve.
