We're tempted to spend a few days on the Ile de Re (France) in July. Any recommendations for quiet sites would be appreciated. We don't need to be beside the sea or have any activities, but a small pool would be nice as would a convenient restaurant or two!

It's still available as a free download from Hampshire Library 🙂 In fact you can get every issue back to July 2015
(I assume that Haymarket gain some revenue in some way for every download, even though free to library users).
 
Thanks both. It was Nigel's article that prompted our thoughts towards the Ile de Re but my copy has long since been recycled!
Will try for a back copy.

Last year we took the magazine with us and tried to follow in Nigel's footsteps when visiting the island. About 50% succesful.
