Come and live in south Wales - Mecca of the west - sun trying to break through - very little rain today - cut the lawns this morning. Nothing wrong with the British weather in this part of the country.
Could there be a hint of favouritism within the fire service there?

Well, my daughter and I braved the floods to go to Next and Outfit. We were met by one of my colleagues - an incident commander as we were driving into the car park. The roofs of both buildings had collapsed and the stores were flooded too.
Although there was a person reported, no one was injured.
So anyone in Notts - don't go those shops this weekend as they won't be open.

Diane I was at home in Penyfai until 1:30pm and then up the Pines at Sarn Park until 3:30pm. I cut the lawns this morning front and back, but we did have a shower on coming home from the Pines - didm't last very long - just a few minutes. From approx 4:00pm sun shine and clear skies now as I sit here indoors typing this drivel.
