Part of the road to the front of the house is flooded.......and there's about four inches of water outside the backdoor.

Anyone else got probs with the storm?

Well, my daughter and I braved the floods to go to Next and Outfit. We were met by one of my colleagues - an incident commander as we were driving into the car park. The roofs of both buildings had collapsed and the stores were flooded too.

Although there was a person reported, no one was injured.

So anyone in Notts - don't go those shops this weekend as they won't be open.

Colin i dont know where you've bin today but the heavans open up on the pyle junction of the M4 and the traffic was down to 20mph All the way to junction 44. Could'nt see 2ft in front of me at 13.30

Diane I was at home in Penyfai until 1:30pm and then up the Pines at Sarn Park until 3:30pm. I cut the lawns this morning front and back, but we did have a shower on coming home from the Pines - didm't last very long - just a few minutes. From approx 4:00pm sun shine and clear skies now as I sit here indoors typing this drivel.

Told the wife to stop mowing the lawn as the weather was due to change. She said I must care after all to warn her, she was less than pleased when I told her that it was the cost of replacing the mower that worried me most. :0)
