Steve,I spent all day yesterday cleaning the Maverick and the caravan.Only problem is my road is currently having a total refurb, new main drains, kerbs and complete new road, not just tarmac so come Friday they will both be filthy. Incidently I must have used 5x's the water using a bucket than if I'd used a hosepipe.

ps' the contractors have promised me they will leave room for me to get the van out before they leave for easter. If there isn't it looks like I be out there filling in the holes. :O)

Sorry Lolly, I will try again

My car (discovery aka disco) has dirt all over it (dirty). Now do I go outside with a bucket and sponge and apply it to the paint work (clean it) or wait until after we all take our caravans to lickhill at during the easter holiday (easter meet)

Steve

last seen running away before lolly slaps him one!

No problem Steve, if you drive over to Cottesmore in Rutland, we are in the middle of a hail/thunder-storm and it's tipping it down - failing that, our van is clean and the car will be before the meet, so get out and wash yours you lazy sod!!! (only joking)

Lolly x

p.s. slap you at easter!!!

Was it not about this time you were meant to be at Gloucester race course for some motorcycle meet?

We went away last week and cleaned the van and Sorento before we left.Used a particularly muddy road within 5 miles of home and ended up with everything pot black on arrival at our first site. Now a lot of sites do not like you cleaning vehicles.....so then what do you do? One suggestion was to leave it until after dark when no -one is around!

Our Sorento also used to throw up a lot of muck on the front of the van,but we changed the mud flaps and now there is a big difference ( Frontera mud flaps )

Don't bother to clean it. Land Rovers are supposed to be covered with mud and filth. They look right like that.

At least thats what I tell my wife and i'm sticking to that story.

Clarky.
