In Praise of Devizes CCC site

Just had a weekend at Devizes CCC site, apart from a lovely site, wardens were really friendly and helpful, people we met were all nice and friendly, and we even had one man come over and help with putting up our new awning, perfect caravanning weekend.
 
We stayed there Easter 2002, and it was very nice. Excellent pub just round the corner. The site is adjacent to the canal, and we hired a 27' narrowboat for a day. Good quality towpath into Devizes for keen cyclists - there are 29 locks packed into just two miles. But it's downhill back to the site.

I agree - an idyllic site.
