Infomation re holiday to Jersey

Iam thinking of going to Jersey sometime next year. Any help would be appreciated regarding best ferry to take, prices,sites etc. I live in Northern, so it might be expensive, with two ferry prices to consider

Caravans/Motorhomes

Visiting caravans and motorhomes can be driven on the roads subject to a permit and are restricted to one journey to, and one journey from, the campsite to the port. Caravans must remain on the designated site for the period of the permit.

Lovely island to visit, was there back in May. However the fastcraft from Weymouth/Poole has restrictions on the length of caravan it can take, you may therefore have to use the traditional ferry from Portsmouth which will take up to 10 hours. We thought about doing this, but chickened out in the end and stayed at a nice Hotel which had a special offer on!!!!!!!!!
