insecure circler security locks

I was interested to see the review in the current Practical Caravan of . But after seeing links else where to a download showing how easy it is to open circler security locks I wonder how secure all those tested actually are and if this simple use of a been to open the locks was one of the tests?

Until I get some reassurance I wouldn't trust such security locks my self as those used on motor cycles are widely regarded as insecure. See for your selves

The problem with caravan security is that a thief will get in through the weakest point. If you put too good a lock on they will only destroy the door or a window. Any good folding knife would cut a hole throug the caravan wall in no time if you put your mind to it.

Do not leave anything in a caravan that you do not want to loose.

If you leave a van in storage and you have nothing valuable in it do not draw the curtains or blinds and leave the cuboard doors open.

If they can see there is nothing in it it is not worth the bother
