I thought some people might be interested in an advert by Machine Mart I’ve just seen in a newspaper.
Its for Heavy Duty Instant Garages which could be used to house a caravan keeping it clean and give some protection from the worse of the winter weather.
They are available in two sizes :- 16ft x 12ft 3ins x 8ft 6ins and 20ft x 12ft 3ins x 8ft 6ins.
Looks as if it would be easier to park a van in one of these rather than fit a caravan cover every time the van is parked up.
Another advantage is that no foundation is required for the cover.

Allowing for the fact that it is only 6m long and you would need room front and back to prevent material coming into contact with caravan and also to get hitch in you would be limited to smallish caravans or folders. Good idea but just not large enough and I'm not sure about rigidity in high winds.
 
My van is parked under a extended car port at the back of the house, and it gets very dirty both front and on the roof.
