Sorry to hear you had to make a claim so soon after getting your van.

Glad to hear it was a successful outcome. They certainly sound a reasonably good company to be insured with.
 
We claimed off of NFU for our caravan that was written of when family borrowed it for a holiday.

They offered help and advice to our relatives (better than the cars insurers) re the cars damage and getting back to the UK through their French office. The French office were on to the breakdown company that cleared the wreckage within an hour of a call to NFU UK and NFU were very fair with the replacement price given for the caravan.
